See where your buyers come from
Updated · Getting started
Insights, under Reviews in the sidebar, shows how often buyers see your store on PepReviewPro and its partners. It follows them from that first look to the order they place.
The five figures
Pick Last 7 days, Last 30 days, or Last 90 days at the top of the page. Each figure shows its change against the same number of days just before. Select a figure to see it day by day, with a line for each source.
- Impressions counts the times buyers saw your store's card. On PepReviewPro, a card counts once at least half of it is on screen, once per page view. That covers Verified vendors, the homepage, and other stores' pages. Partners tell us what they showed their users.
- Profile views counts views of your store page on PepReviewPro.
- Store visits counts clicks on a link that passes through PepReviewPro on its way to your store. That covers Visit store on your store page and in Verified vendors, Shop with code offers, and partner links that go through us.
- Orders counts orders we sent you that are processing or completed. A refund or cancellation takes an order back out.
- Revenue adds up those orders in the currency most of them came in. Orders in other currencies show beside it, never converted.
We started counting store cards on PepReviewPro's own pages with this version of Insights. A range that reaches back before then shows fewer Impressions.
Some partners don't tell us what they show. Each time we send your store to one of their data feeds, the Sources table notes it as plus … in data feeds. A store in a feed may never reach a person, so we keep that count apart.
From first look to order
The funnel lays the steps side by side: Impressions, Profile views, Store visits, and Orders. Between each step, it shows the share of buyers who went on to the next.
Orders from buyers who saw your reviews
Many buyers read your reviews, then go back to your store on their own and order. This section counts those orders as well as the ones that came through a link. Each order counts once, by the first way we can tell:
- Clicked through: Followed a link from PepReviewPro or a partner to your store.
- Same account: Read your reviews signed in, then ordered with the same email within 7 days.
- Same device: Read your reviews on PepReviewPro from the same device within 7 days.
- Reviews widget: Saw your reviews widget on your site within 7 days.
These matches need the WordPress plugin from version 4.4.0. It sends the IP address and browser an order came from, which we keep only as a one-way hash.
When a buyer opens your PepReviewPro page from your own site, the page offers a link back to your store. Following it counts as a click.
Sources
Each source has its own row: PepReviewPro for our own pages, then ChatPEP, Peptide Pricing, and Vet Your Pep. A buyer who first came from a partner stays that partner's for 30 days. If they read your reviews and then select Visit store, the visit is still the partner's.
Found for lists the compounds partners showed your store for, such as a buyer asking ChatPEP for one.
On your plan
Every plan gets Insights with PepReviewPro's own figures in full. Partner figures and Found for come with Growth and Professional. On other plans, the figures count PepReviewPro alone, and you see how often partner users asked about your store.
Tags on your traffic
Every link we send to your store carries tags, so you can find us in Google Analytics or in the Origin column of your WooCommerce orders.
utm_sourceispepreviewpro.utm_mediumisreferral, oraffiliateon a Shop with code offer.utm_campaignis the source:pepreviewprofor our own pages, or the partner:chatpep,peptide-pricing, orvet-your-pep.utm_contentis the link the buyer clicked:storeHeader, storeAbout, directoryCard, finderProduct, finderStore, offerCard, orreturnToStore.prp_click_idis the click, which we match the order by.
A link that already has UTM tags, such as an affiliate's own link, keeps them. We only add prp_click_id.
Where orders come from
Orders come from WooCommerce's order attribution. From version 4.4.0, the WordPress plugin sends what WooCommerce saved with each order. We match the order to its click by prp_click_id. Without a click, an order tagged utm_source=pepreviewpro counts for the source in its utm_campaign.
WooCommerce saves an order's source from version 8.5, with order attribution turned on. Which WooCommerce orders does the plugin send?
