Why was part of a review removed?

Updated · Compliance screening

When screening rejects a review, the automatic clean-up keeps what can be published. The buyer's original words are saved.

What the clean-up keeps

It keeps what the buyer said about your store and their order: shipping, packaging, service, ordering, price, testing documents, and plain praise of quality. It may reword those sentences so they pass. It removes everything else. The review's headline is then written again from the text that was kept.

It never adds anything the buyer didn't say, and it never changes the star rating.

When it runs

The clean-up runs on its own when a review is submitted. It also runs when you select AI clean-up on a held review.

Restore the original

Open the review's menu in Reviews and select Revert to original. The buyer's own words come back. That text is what screening rejected, so the review comes down and stays flagged until a re-check clears it.
