What does compliance screening remove?

Updated · Compliance screening

Every review is screened when it is submitted. Screening looks for wording that can put a store's payment processing at risk.

What screening looks for

  • Direct human-use language
  • Weight loss or body composition claims
  • Testimonial of a personal outcome
  • Coded or implied human use
  • Dosing, administration, or reconstitution
  • Medical claim or health advice
  • Third-party or implied use

What happens to that wording

When a review fails, the automatic clean-up keeps what the buyer said about the store and the order, and removes the rest. If nothing can be kept, the review is held and isn't published. Why was part of a review removed?

What never changes

Screening never changes the star rating. The clean-up never adds anything the buyer didn't say.

Every review, every plan

Screening runs on every review on every plan. A store can't publish a review that failed as written. Only a person on our team can clear it, when the store asks for a re-check. What can I do when screening holds a review?
