How do I import my past orders?

Updated · Integrations

Import your order history once, after you connect. An import never emails anyone.

Why import

Past orders let us verify reviews from buyers who ordered before you connected. They also let Request reviews reach those customers when you choose.

From a file

Export your orders as CSV or JSON, then run:

npx pepreviewpro import-orders orders.csv

A CSV has one row per line item, and rows that share an id are one order. A JSON file is a list of orders, or one order per line. Every row is checked before anything is sent.

The command saves its place beside the file after every batch. If it stops, run the same command again and it carries on. Add --restart to start over.

From your code

prp.orders.import(orders) sends a list of orders in batches, with no email. A failed batch throws an ImportError whose checkpoint says where to pick up. Pass it back to resume.

What an import does

Imported orders are saved and credited like any other, so they count for verified purchases and for Insights. Sending an order you already sent is safe. It comes back unchanged.

On WordPress, the plugin imports your history by itself once it connects. Which WooCommerce orders does the plugin send?
