Why isn't my review showing yet?

A new review takes a few steps before it appears. Most of the wait is in one of these.
You haven't confirmed it yet
This applies to a review you wrote on the store's page. A star from your review request email needs no confirmation. Look for an email titled "Confirm your review for" and the store's name. Select Confirm review. If you can't find it, check your spam folder. The link never expires.
The store hasn't approved it
Some stores publish confirmed, verified reviews right away. Others approve each review first. Once it is confirmed, your review appears on the store's page when it is approved.
Screening is holding it
Every review is checked for wording that can put a store's payment processing at risk. That wording is removed before a review appears. If nothing can be kept, the review is held, or the store may publish your star rating on its own. What does compliance screening remove?
